Anybody know about this recipe?
Stormy, welcome to the Porch!

Hi Beth, I am unable to email you and was wondering if you'd post your email for people whose link won't work. When I click on it, it doesn't work and says some message. I was wondering if you take Southern novel excerpts. Thanks, Barbara

Hi all,
I'm fascinated by the Deep South as evoked in 'O Brother Where Art Thou', and would love to learn of real-life prison escapes that may have taken place roughly in this era.
Can anyone recommend good sources of history or fiction that recount stories of prisoners on the run in the south?
Failing that, I'm generally interested in photos, narratives, music and historical accounts of life in the rural south during the depression.
Many thanks in advance,
Lewis

Many thanks in advance, Lewis Lewis, I just returned from a short Thanksgiving visit with children and grandchildren, but I'll see what I can find out for you. Give me a few days.

Thanks for the history lesson regarding Capitol St. and downtown Jackson. I could only imagine what it was like since I was born in Jackson in 1980,and still reside here.

Just checking in after a long absence from the porch. Don't know if there is anyone left here except Beth that might remember me and Randy after all this time away. But we are alive and kicking after all this time. Hope to hear from some of the old timers that are left here. My email is UndercovrAngel1@yahoo.com

I am not sure how this site is supposed to be used but I am interested in communicating with other writers. Beth, are you still publishing stories online?
